Listed!

Our house is officially listed and on the market! We are just praying now for the buyer.....that they would come quickly, not be too stingy and that they will take good care of it! That's not too much to ask!

Now what do I do.....everything is done? Just kidding...... I'm not in the least bit bored, but it is a great feeling to have your house clean and in tip top house showing condition. My house isn't always this way and it took some work, mostly to get things organized and situated. I have to admit.....it feels kind of empty with everything off the counters, half of the furniture out of the room and nothing hanging on my fridge! The last couple days have been "cleaning mode" and my amazing hubby even took off a day of work to get the last minute things done! Mackenzie even got her hands in the mix......give her a rag and spray bottle and that girl goes to town!

We actually had our first showing already today...just pray that my "perfectionist" mode pays off!

We've had our townhouse on the market since last summer. We are not expecting to sell it anytime soon because of the housing market, plus we can't afford to lose too much money on it. But we had some how showings early on and one day it took us 5 hours to clean our house. It's crazy how bad we can let our house go sometimes. And I am definitely not Mrs. Clean. But I almost dread when I get the phone call to show our place because I know it's not where it should be. It's SO HARD to keep a house that clean. Especially with little kids. It looks like a tornado comes through my house everyday. Good Luck selling your house.

Wow, you guys have been working so hard! I pray for you guys too, that everything happens quickly with the sale of the house and that it goes smoothly too. It's a stressful time, but I hope it's not too stressful! You'll have to tell me how it goes...

I'm with you Nichole. The realtor comes tomorrow to take pics. I feel like we are mostly ready, but there are always those last minute things. I'm excited for you guys to be closer to family. We are very excited to as well! We pray God's blessing on your family in this time of transition.
