Our Summer - Part 1

Since I just started this blog and summer is now over we'll give you an overview of it! This is my first official post all by myself.....the first one I had help........thanks Jess for the lesson!

We started out by getting a pool to just have in our now fenced in back yard. I didn't figure it would be safe for me to be taking both girls to the pool by myself, so Mackenzie still got to enjoy the water.....Here with some friends!

Mid summer while Aaron and Mackenzie were out picking black raspberries she fell on the the trail and got a buckle fracture on her wrist. Thankfully she didn't have to have a cast, at least she could take the brace off for baths....and the pool(sssh!) After we finally got the correct brace for her arm(the doctor gave her a right arm brace for her left arm) she did very good about wearing it and keeping it on! She only had to wear it for 3 weeks!

We got to spend the 4th at Grandpa and Grandma Musselman's and ride the horses!

Aunt Amy came to visit us for a couple of days and we took advantage of having 2 adults.... so we headed to the pool!

The circus came to town so why not partake! With front row seats, the stench, high temps under the tent, and lots of sugar.....what is not to love!

They had a petting zoo before you went in......I couldn't believe that Mackenzie would actually let the goats eat right out of her hand! She even got to see a real live"hippomopotamus!"
